Home Automation

Using the words `home automation' can be dangerous, or enlightening, however you look at it. Dangerous if you were to try and place a value on it, without the knowledge of the specifics of what is automated? Enlightening, therefore might come after you do know, maybe not. Automation features by Pro-Comm are better described with the single word... integration. The use of existing and future technology are what we utilize for one major reason. We want to design a system for you, automating the features you want or need, and be able to tell you that ``Yes, it will work.", rather than, ``Yes you can feel comfortable knowing this will work, oh, 7 out of 10 times." We specifically like to utilize existing control applications, with use of custom `touch screen systems by Custom Command and CRESTRON.

Lights come up to a predetermined dim setting upon entering home in the evening and entering the correct security code. Wake up to your favorite music or TV station on specified mornings. Light pathways at night to predetermined areas, i.e. the kitchen or bathroom. Automatic `Party' modes adjust temperature, lighting, audio and visual throughout.

Upon entering the driveway, triggers are sent to activate driveway lights, (and should the alarm be on) send a chime tone within the home, and switch any TV that is on in the home to a cable channel showing a recessed camera in the driveway image, along with audio from the same.

Water the landscaping on predetermined times, ONLY if it is necessary, and if it just rained, only water the amounts needed, or not at all if it had rained enough.

Every day, Monday through Friday (unless it's a determined day off/vacation) adjust the temperature in the morning. If the sun is out, partially open window blinds, bring on the TV in the family room/tune channel/adjust volume and wake up Mom and Dad.
