Wouldn't it be nice
to wake up in the morning, and as you get out of bed, push the `scene one'
button on your customized lighting control next to the bed.

Now as
you stumble up, the bathroom lights slowly fading up to a level of 35%
bright, keeping low so your eyes can adjust, but also leaving the lamps on
your nightstands off so your `significant other' may continue to sleep. Now
as you enter the bathroom, pushing `scene two' the bathroom lights all slowly
fade up to 85% (no need to go full bright, the tile here brings on more
light plus keeping the level conserves energy while giving each bulb a
longer life). |

Finishing
your shower and ready for your coffee, you motivate yourself from the
bathroom to the upper hallway, where in walking on an under carpet pressure
pad that (between the hours of midnight and 6:00 AM) activates `scene 3'
which begins to slowly dim up the hallway lights to the kitchen, thus
lighting your hallway, showing you to your coffee... By determining the features desired, we can provide predetermined dimming
settings throughout your home. One button in the kitchen may activate the `party
mode' where room lights are at 85%, yet your accent lighting for the artwork and
foyer are kept at 45%. Or maybe in coming home after a dinner out, pushing a
button at the front door activates the `scene' that provides the "all on" feature,
momentarily of course, for when you get to the bedroom and ready to call it a
day, you can also push the `scene' for the "all off" feature which will slowly dim
every light in the Home, yet specifically bypassing the lights we previously
decided were to act as the `security' lights. |
